An evaporator ctrl Solution includes the critical functions of evaporator operations for any application. 

Base Model:

• Control for one evaporator of any type (DX, recirculated/pumped, flooded)

• Defrost of any type (hot gas, water, air, electric), including soft-gas control

• All types of control valves, including normally-open or normally-closed suction valves

• Air-on temperature monitoring and control

• External input for remote defrost initiation

• 10" HMI screen

• Dedicated alarm circuits

Options Available:

• Motor controls, including starters or VFDs

• Additional temperature monitoring (Air-off, room, ambient)

• Reheat control

• Multiple evaporators, including defrost staging

• Additional monitoring for pressure control

• Energy efficiency operations with a VFD, including evaporator shutdown on satisfied temperatures

• Ammonia detection and alarms, including sensor fault monitoring, horn/strobe circuits, and dedicated alarm circuits

All ctrl Solutions include documentation for sequence of operations (SOO), HMI screens, material specifications, and wire schematics. Nearly all ctrl Solutions by Proton Controls can be combined to a custom solution, as well.
