ctrl Solutions from Proton Controls include a variety of standalone controllers for simple installation and integration into any refrigeration system. Each solution is compatible with all types of systems and can easily be modified and adjusted for your specific needs.
All ctrl Solutions can be combined with others and can include motor controls (VFD, starters, etc.) integrated into the same design. Proton Controls can provide the best control system for your needs with simplified designs and flexible programs.

Refrigeration Control System
The most flexible and customizable solution for all refrigeration systems. This panel can provide complete control in a centralized location to any refrigeration application. All ctrl Solutions are integrated into this single option for the most economical and simple solution.

Pump Package Controller
Pump recirculator controls, including pumps, level control, and cavitation protection. This panel is an all-in-one standalone application to control a recirculator pump package. With inputs for permissive start, optional oil pot heater control, and remote access, this panel provides a simple solution for refrigeration systems.

Condenser Controller
Basic control for a standalone condenser fan(s) and water pump(s). Ideal for small systems or efficiency upgrades, this controller can provide staging for your fans and pumps. Options include wet bulb approach set point and integrated VFD.

Gauge Panel & EPCS
Emergency Pressure Control System with monitoring for up to five pressure zones. The gauge panel includes 6" gauges for each zone, customizable nameplates, a prominent contractor nameplate, and pre-wired pressure switches. Optionally, EPCS control can be provided with a single remote reset and remote monitoring.

Evaporator Control
Evaporator controller for standalone applications, including all typical designs for DX, flooded, or or pump-recirculated evaporators. The control panel includes an HMI for local control and remote access capabilities. Fan starters or VFDs can be included. Additional evaporators can be added as needed for minimal cost.

Compressor Staging Controller
Control for multiple compressors (screw or reciprocating) to safely stage and modulate capacity for accurate temperature or pressure control of the refrigeration system. Communicates with most compressor package panels (Quantum, Omni, Vission, and more) and can be provided with expanded I/O for reciprocating compressors with mechanical switches.

Ammonia Detection & Ventilation
Engine room ventilation controls following IIAR 2. The control panel includes fan VFDs and starters, temperature control, supply fan or louver control, occupancy control, and emergency shutdown. Ammonia detection can be integrated with optional battery backup or combined with an external ammonia detection control system.

Chiller Control
Control panel with options for all types of heat exchangers, including DX, pumped and flooded. DX control includes superheat and fluid temperature control with motorized valve outputs, while flooded control includes level and pressure control. Customizable to fit pump motors and additional monitoring as needed.

Level Control Panel
A simple but customizable control panel for vessel level. Includes control based on level switches or level probes (4-20mA), with outputs for multiple solenoids and motorized expansion valves. Optional battery backup is available to force-close motorized valves.
